Description

In 1937, Xavier Nogués won the Nonell Prize at the Exposició de Primavera with a painting entitled “Market. Olot”, which was due to become part of the collections of the Museu d’Art Modern in Barcelona. We do not know why it was never included. It is currently deposited with the MNAC (inventory no. 65.635) as part of an agreement with the Museu de la Garrotxa, 2016.
