Description


The etching was produced in two stages and the aquatint in six stages, maybe using more than one type of resin. The deep tones Nogués achieved are particularly noteworthy. Palau Antiguitats art gallery has found a state proof not included in Jaume Pla’s catalogue raisonné. We attached an image of it here (December 2022).
