Description
There are two known states of this print. The first is an etching produced in three stages. Solid lines resulting from the aquatint. Remarkable grey tones. The second state features the tonal values of an aquatint produced in six stages. No traces of the original etching remain. The print reminds us of “The Wind”, although it is not as dramatic. We are including a print from the Palau Antiguitats gallery signed in pencil and dated 1917 (December 2022).
