Description

Sculpture made in collaboration with his friend, the sculptor Josep Granyer (1899-1983) and originally one of a pair. The other was a recumbent lioness, also designed by Nogués and made by Granyer (MNAC, inventory no. 107.746). (See file  ES0003).

A version cast in bronze from the original plaster model has also been found. It is owned by the Granyer family (without a plinth, 18 x 15 x 11.5 cm).
