Description

Painted ceramic vase featuring a horse race being watched by spectators. Six horses and riders and six spectators in different positions. This piece was part of the Salvador Riera collection and was acquired by the Catalan government on 12th May 1994. It is registered under the number R-1646 in the Inventory of Movable Property of Historical and Artistic Value of the Catalan Government (2025 edition, currently being updated). It is currently housed in the storage facilities of the Department of Culture (La Campana, Barcelona).
