A highly ambitious combination of etching and aquatint (with rich tonal variations). There may have been a single proof etching (as recorded in the artist’s notebook) but we have been unable to locate it. However, we do have this carefully studied and highly decorative composition (at the Exposició d’Art, Junta Municipal d’Exposicions, it was exhibited under the title The Agave Plant).
