Description

Glass decorated with one of the drawings that were used to illustrate the cover of the wine list for the basement café, El Celler, at the Galeries Laietanes. “Barcelona” is misspelt as “Bacelona”. It is slightly bigger than another glass on the same theme in our catalogue (V0082) but the colours are more vivid and more detailed.
This glass, or one from the same series, was shown at the furniture and interior design exhibition, the Exposició Internacional del Moble i decoració d’interiors organised by the decorative arts society, the Foment de les Arts Decoratives, Barcelona, 1923.
