Description

Glass decorated with the following motifs: Two male figures wearing suits on either side of a coat of arms. The one on the left is raising a glass and the one on the right is holding a wine vessel. Below the scene is a scroll bearing the slogan: “Lo bon vi mata la cuca” (Good wine kills the worm).

Another glass from the same series was exhibited at the Artur Ramon gallery in 1994 (see catalogue). The drawing was used to illustrate the page dedicated to the fortified wines known as vinos generosos.
