– Volen que no hi hagin ni rics ni pobres. (“They don’t want there to be either rich or poor people.”)
– ¡Quin horror! Suprimir els pobres equival a suprimir la caritat, la més santa de les virtuts!
(“How dreadful! Getting rid of the poor would be the same as getting rid of charity, the holiest of virtues!”)
