– When I get angry, it really gets my goat.
– And when I’m hungry, I feel the rat running around in my belly.
– Poor little animals!!
A play on words with the saying “pujar la mosca al nas” (to get angry or literally “to have the fly go up your nose”) and “córrer la rata pel ventre” (to have a rat running round your stomach) meaning that your stomach is rumbling.
