Description
In 1937, Xavier Nogués won the Nonell Prize at the Exposició de Primavera with a painting entitled “Olot market” which should have been included in the collections of Barcelona’s Museu d’Art Modern. The reason why it was not included is unknown. This work has been on permanent loan to the MNAC (inventory no. 65.635) as part of an agreement with the Museu de la Garrotxa.
