Description

Series of six small, enamelled glasses from the series. Barcelona, Bonanova Subastas, 18/05/2023, lot. No. 732. The auction house does not provide dimensions or other details. The finishes are of a slightly different quality to the other glasses produced during Nogués’ and Crespo’s collaboration. They are more rigid and not as well blended into the glass as they are in other pieces.

Notes

With the collaboration of Conxa Domènech. Xavier Nogués is the author of the drawings and, sometimes, also of the pictorial transposition with enamel on the glass, Ricard Crespo was responsible for the firing of the pieces and Conxa Domènech de Crespo who also traced and reviewed Nogués’ drawings. The degree of Xavier Nogués’ direct participation is especially evident in the finishes and when compared with the original drawings.
