Panel of 35 pottery tiles decorated with sardana dances in a Mediterranean landscape, inside a painted frieze of volutes that imitates a gilded wooden frame. It was displayed on the ground floor of the former chocolate shop, Can Culleretes (Carrer Quintana, 5) in Barcelona. Produced in collaboration with the ceramicist Francesc Quer (1858-1933) at the Fills de Jaume Pujol i Bausis factory in Esplugues de Llobregat. It was made in 1923 for the restaurant Can Culleretes in Barcelona, which opened as a chocolatiers in 1786 and was converted into a restaurant shortly after being purchased by the renowned restaurateur Miquel Regàs (1880-1965). The interior designer Jaume Llongueras (1883-1955) commissioned Nogués to decorate the tiled panels and dados. Some of the panels were kept in Regàs’ collection (Tiana) and others were transferred to the cellar at the Palauet Plandiura (La Garriga) before being donated to the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona.
