Description
The inspired “madness” of the writer Joan Oliver (Pere Quart) and the cartoonist Xavier Nogués are on full display in this book, which combines the poet’s marvellous verses with Nogués’ interpretations of them. Pere Quart (text); Xavier Nogués (illustrations). Barcelona, Catalan government, Department of Culture, Sabadell, 1937. 139 pages, with 46 illustrations. Reissued by Proa (Barcelona) in 1969, 1997 and 2015.
