Description

Xavier Nogués produced at least one cover for the programmes for the concerts staged by the Associació Música “da Càmera” de Barcelona at the Palau de la Música for the 1931-1932 season. They were printed by the Institut Gràfic Oliva in Vilanova i la Geltrú in 1931.
The programme for the eighth concert features a seated shepherd playing a flute and is based on a preparatory drawing for the mural in the mayor’s office at Barcelona City Hall, titled The Spiritual Renaissance of Catalonia. (Fons Manuel Clausells. Doc. 6.634; FC57 Dossiers (VI)).
