A crowded steamship, seemingly adrift in a storm. Original drawing published in L’oci d’un filòsof by Cristòfor de Domènech (text), with illustrations by Xavier Nogués, Barcelona, J. Horta, Llibreria Catalonia, 1928.

This drawing was part of Alfons Moncanut i Geli’s collection. Following his death in 1962, it was bequeathed to the Museu de l’Empordà, where it is currently held, in accordance with his final wishes. Image rights: Museu de l’Empordà.
