Description
Nogués’ first important print on a horse riding theme. It is rather grotesque in tone and full of movement. The rhythm of the work takes advantage of the contrast between the large areas of white and the velvety blacks of the figures and horses. One of Nogués’ key works. We are adding a print from the Palau Antiguitats gallery signed in pencil and dated 1934 (December 2022).

Description
Peculiar print quite unlike the rest of Nogués’ output. It is perhaps the artist’s most literary work, in which the unity of the composition is not so successfully resolved. Dreams and reality seem to merge in a single work.
